Transit 2.4 TDCI Mk7 Engine Problem
There is one more problem with those Ford Transit Engines where after year 2006 single chain timing was used by Ford. There is no option to change it for double chain like the old Transit ( Mk6 ) had. The single chain is liable to stretch and the engine fault caused by this is usual damage to "rocker ladder" when piston makes contact with engine valve.
