KNOWN NISSAN 2.0L dCi ENGINE PROBLEMS

We are not aware of any major faults with this engine, however as with any engine, improper use will cause decreased performance and eventually damage. The most common write off engines we see are caused by:

• Engine overheating
  
• Fuel Pump failure
  
• Injector failure
  
• Wear-out of piston rings
  
• Cam chain jumping
  
• Deprivation of oil
  

If any of these problems are allowed to manifest then complete engine failure is likely, don't neglect your engine!
