The M3 is equipped with a high-performance engine, a 3.2L I6 engine for the E46 M3 which was produced 2000-2006, and a 4.0L V8 engine from 2007-2013. Since 2014 the M3 (F80) has been offered with 3.0L BMW S55 I6 Twin Turbo engine.

KNOWN BMW M3 ENGINE PROBLEMS
