RECONDITIONED FIAT 1.6L MULTIJET ENGINE IN-STOCK

We can provide you with a reconditioned 1.6L MultiJet (JTD) engine at Engine Engineering. This engine has been in production since 2006 and has the following specifications:

• Displacement:1,598 cc (97.5 cu in)
  
• Power (max):120 PS (118 hp/88 kW)
  
• Torque: 320 N·m (236 ft·lbf) at 1750 rpm
  
• Bore: 79.5 mm
  
• Piston: 80.5 mm

REPORTED 1.6L FIAT JTD ENGINE PROBLEMS & FAULTS

Engine Engineering are not aware of any serious issues with this engine however some users have reported issues with short distances in cold weather where the engine over-revs which can cause damage if the engine is not properly oiled. You should refer to the manufactures handbook for guidance on oil changes and engine care to ensure your Fiat 1.6L MultiJet engine runs efficiently. If you are experiencing any problems then please advise Engine Engineering and we will see if a reconditioned engine is the correct solution for you.
