KNOWN 2.3L MULTIJET ENGINE PROBLEMS
There are no reported general problems with the Fiat 2.3L MultiJet engine, however improper care of your engine can result in decreased performance and/or damage. The most common engine problems are:
- Cam chain jumping
- Fuel Pump failure
- Injector failure
- Wear-out of piston rings
- Engine overheating
- Deprivation of oil
