Porsche 911 Recon Engines For Sale

The Porsche 911 comes under the classification of a performance sports car. The 911 is the designation given by Porsche to this lineup of Porsche models. The car has been in production since the year of 1963 and continues to be in production to this day. The name Carrera has been given to designations of the Porsche 911 also. From the years of 1963–1998 the engines used within the 911 were air cooled. This changed in the year of 1998 when water-cooled engines became available. The first generation which this method of cooling was equiped in was the Porsch 911 996 Series.

In the year of 2000 an update to the vehicle saw an improvement introduced to the engine with a 3.6L twin turbo charged, intercooled flat six engine.
